While passing through Val Thorens, we had dinner one evening with friends. We ordered pork tomahawk steak and lamb shank, and it was excellent. We had a very pleasant time with excellent service.

Excellent pizza. We've been eating there every year for over 10 years and it's always a pleasure. Weather permitting, the terrace is very pleasant.

We came 3 people without reservation at 1800, the place was empty. We ordered 2 pizzas (Carbonara & Cannibele) and they told us we must order 3 dishes or they’ll charge us with additional 5€. We ordered french fries in 6€ and tap water (which are free, not like in Austria). The pizzas were ok, we ate dinner in 43€.

L'Auberge des Balcons

22/01/2026: Quite a varied menu, mainly traditional French but with enough European/Asian to suit everyone. Service was very quick and efficient, amazing as the restaurant was heaving. We had reserved a table but there did seem to be the odd table unoccupied.

30/01/2026: 360 is easily one of the best après-ski spots in Val Thorens. I had a lot of fun here and the atmosphere is top-tier.
