Les Saisons de Trainefeuilles sur Thenay

We spent a lovely long weekend in this guesthouse. The welcome is very warm, the owners give good advice, the breakfast is very friendly with homemade jams/cakes and local products. The place is ideally placed for visiting the castles of the Loire. (A little advice when you go out of season, don't hesitate to reserve a table in a small restaurant recommended by the owners. The list is judicious and out of season, some places close so the advice is useful.)

Short one-night stay with Caroline and Raphaël, but warm welcome. Spacious room with a small terrace and access to the very pleasant garden, despite the rain. We stayed at the “le four à pain” gîte and everything was perfect: the comfort, the decor, the welcome, the geographical location. The place is truly magnificent, quiet yet close to everything (shops, restaurants, tourist sites). Caroline and Raphaël are super friendly and gave good advice for organizing our stay. I will go back without hesitation!

Very warm welcome by Caroline in this very nice cottage that I saw in the middle of nothing; In the end it is 1/2 hour from full sightseeing. The mesh room is very nice, very spacious, located on the ground floor To use WIFI, you have to stay in the room at the entrance where it has a herbal tea room and two small beds, despite the super Tenda repeaters. Don't forget to have your breakfast prepared by Céline. This takes place in the conservatory in the conservatory which overlooks the beautiful garden and swimming pool

Great place to stay when exploring the Loire region. We had a room under the roof that was very cozy and clean. It had a wonderful local flare. There was a kettle with coffee/tea supplies, and also a ventilator and a radiator that you could control. No fridge in the room, but we were offered to put anything we needed into the one in the kitchen. The breakfast was great - a buffet offering eggs, a couple of local cheeses, freshly baked baguette, yogurt, lemon cake, and typical French pastries - croissant and pain au chocolat. It takes place on a glassed terrasse, and we really enjoyed the view - the territory looked fantastic, with its greenery, small pond, and a couple of bridges.

Traînefeuilles is a great place: everything is well laid out, subtly chosen so that visitors' expectations are met. With great discretion Caroline is attentive to the wishes of the guests. The setting is exceptional: of a beauty difficult to match.

Superb accommodation with very good service. Country environment with swimming pool. Despite the very variable weather, we were able to swim in the swimming pool.

We spent a very good week at the gîte le four à pain, impeccable welcome, calm, beautiful environment and fully equipped gîte which is very pleasant. The location is ideal for visiting castles, the Beauval zoo and outings without driving too far. Clémence and Jean-Baptiste.
