Three words: Haven of peace A simple and warm welcome. A beautifully renovated former farmhouse with outbuildings. A small pond in front of the property is home to free-roaming animals: ducks, chickens, and swans. In a nearby meadow, sheep and donkeys bring the place to life. It's lovely to relax on a bench. Guests share a table d'hôtes featuring excellent home-cooked meals. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. It's a precious place for anyone seeking serenity and kindness. We discovered this magnificent place on the recommendation of our real estate agent. We were not disappointed at all. A very warm welcome 🫶, a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. A set menu with a main course and dessert, prepared with expertise and quality ingredients. The portions are generous...and for a more than reasonable price 😉. Thank you to the manager and his wonderful smile, his kindness, as the place exudes serenity (environment, architecture, staff, clientele...). We wholeheartedly recommend discovering this beautiful place, which has a wonderful soul, thanks to its entire team. A big bravo 👏.

After a long motorcycle trip, I stumbled upon this place for the night. I discovered a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the food was excellent. I recommend it for travelers looking for a place to rest. Thank you for the hospitality!

25/05/2024: We had lunch here last Wednesday. We hadn't booked but were accommodated without problem in the bar area as the restaurant was full. The restaurant is clearly frequented by manual workers but there were retired folk there too. The Menu du Jour offered a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, a cheese course and 2 desserts. We had the salmon quiche, steak and chips, cheese and a muffin with cold custard. Everything was very good and the portions generous. A half litre of red wine was included but, when we ordered a further quarter litre, another half was brought and we were told that this too was included! The service was efficient and pleasant, there was a nice, lively atmosphere and we were made very welcome. On paying, we were astonished to learn that the total bill was only €30. Exceptional value, given the quality and portion size. No wonder the place was full! Highly recommended.
