Les Tables de la Gare sur Neufchatel-En-Bray

After our short hike to Marie Cloche, we went to this very friendly little crêperie. The service was quick, the waitresses efficient, and the value for money excellent. I had the "Train Express" deal for €13, which included a classic galette (ham, egg, and cheese) and a sugar crêpe. My husband chose a galette with andouille sausage for €14, along with a half-bottle of cider and 50cl of sparkling water. We paid €37, a very reasonable price, and most importantly, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! However, we hadn't made a reservation but arrived right when they opened, so we got a table. Remember to book ahead, as the crêperie fills up quickly. We also left with some local products sold there – a great idea! Thank you.

Nice little unassuming place that served simple dishes. We arrived late afternoon and they were only offering crepes, ice creams and drinks at that time but they were lovely. The lady was really accommodating of my gluten free requirements and made me a buckwheat crepe which wasn’t delicious. The place isn’t smart and doesn’t look anything special but actually provided some lovely drinks and desserts overlooking a cycle track.

Excellent local produce and food along the greenway. Great service. A gourmet break not to be missed.

We stopped here on the “Avenue Verte” cycle route from London to Paris. A charming little place with great crepes and salads. They also stayed open for us when the kitchen was supposed to be closed which was appreciated. The building is nice, it used to be a railway house and they still have some of the original features.

Excellent, the crepes were very good and filling. I highly recommend them, they're a real treat!

The pros: - The view of the greenway and the peaceful atmosphere despite the nearby main road - Parking next door and in the surrounding streets - Varied dishes, all very well-received, made with local products, served lukewarm or even almost cold 😣 - Very small restrooms (shared with the staff changing rooms 😓) but clean and with a changing table. - Accepts large tables of 10 people, including children The cons: - The allergen list, indicated as available upon request on the regular menu, was not provided, and the manager was unreachable to answer their employee's questions. We're talking about food allergies where a person could die, so yes, this information is essential and vital! - A 45-minute wait between arrival and the service of our aperitif and even two carafes of water with regular glasses. We had to keep asking for more carafes and glasses, even though it was a hot summer and we were out cycling. No explanation or apology was given for understaffing or excessive workload, making it incomprehensible to customers. The customers next to us left without eating because after an hour they only received appetizers. - Long wooden table lacking stabilizing triangles. Varied staff: - A very tall, lovely woman under 35 with a great sense of humor and kindness towards customers and children. She was helpful and efficient. She took over the middle of the service and was the only one to offer a high chair for our two children under 3. - A smiling and efficient young woman with braided hair, who took orders and served our table. - A very young woman under 30 who was very superficial, unfriendly, uncomprehending, and inefficient. This detracts from the quality of service; she needs customer service training.

Pleasant restaurant. The dishes are good and generous. The waitress is smiling, friendly, and efficient. Worth discovering!

A truly wonderful idea; the old train station has been transformed into a lovely meeting place with a great restaurant. They serve almost exclusively local products.

First time eating here, and I honestly don't regret it at all – a real treat, as was the welcome. And the grocery store next door is a great idea, allowing you to sample the products. Looking forward to seeing you again. Sincerely
