From a culinary perspective, this Périgord galette was very disappointing—bland and dry. Other dishes are probably better.
As for the atmosphere, it was quite uncomfortable to hear the cooks (and the owner) loudly disparaging an (absent) employee and the neighboring restaurant. This lack of discretion is truly unprofessional.

Great little restaurant! We were just passing through Parthenay and we have no regrets about booking a table here. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff were down-to-earth, and the restaurant was unpretentious—the ideal place for a good meal without any fuss.
As for the price: €66 for two, including aperitifs, wine, main courses, and desserts. I think it's fair to say that's reasonable. 😉

We had a very pleasant time! The owner and waitresses were very welcoming. The meal was very good, simple yet high-quality homemade food! The price was very reasonable! I highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back!

Arrived at 1 pm on a Sunday without a reservation...full...come back in 20 minutes...and there we were, no problem, just sit down...impeccable service, good and generous meal, reasonable price. A great time! 😉
