We had a wonderful time: the setting is magnificent, the service pleasant, and the typical Savoyard meal very enjoyable. Thank you to your team.

We went to eat there in August. As soon as you enter the restaurant, it's simply magnificent, all wood like in mountain huts – truly beautiful. The fondue was excellent, the best I've ever had. And the waitress was efficient and very pleasant. I highly recommend it. Vero & Dylan from the Pas-de-Calais (department 62).

A typical spot in the region. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. The meal was very good, well-presented...the Roblochonnade lived up to our expectations. Good value for money. A great place...we'll be back someday!

A comforting setting, a beautiful atmosphere, a history that has endured for 50 years

A wonderful experience in an exceptional setting steeped in Savoyard history for 54 years. We had a fantastic time; the staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it!

I've been coming to Chalet des Trappeurs for almost 30 years now, and I've never really had any problems. It's a place I've known for a long time, and I've always enjoyed the food. I always make a reservation. However, it must be said that at first, the owner can seem rather cold. Over the years, we've gotten to know her and we find her much friendlier and more accommodating, but I can understand that someone coming for the first time might be taken aback by this initial welcome. As for the food, I've always found the dishes to be good and of high quality. And there's one thing that hasn't changed: their pig's trotters, which are always delicious! After all these years, and despite the many places we've tried, we've never found better pig's trotters. On the other hand, it's a shame to see that over the years, the portions have gradually decreased while the prices have increased. The quantity/price ratio is no longer there. Another minor drawback: the "dessert of the day" seems to have been the same for several years. A little more variety in that area would be appreciated. Despite these few remarks, it remains a pleasant place, just as enjoyable in winter as in summer, thanks in particular to its location at the Col de Tamié, which makes it easy to enjoy walks in the surrounding area. It's a place I continue to frequent after all these years.

Despite the restaurant's superb setting and decor, and our delicious meals, we were disappointed. In particular, we were disappointed by the welcome, handled by the short-haired woman. We arrived at the restaurant and initially mistook her for a customer, as she wasn't smiling. We were seated and then able to make our selections. The meal itself went well, despite a few less-than-friendly interactions with the same person. After our delicious meal, we went to pay, and this same person made remarks when we wanted to split the bill. Then, without any consideration, she deliberately shoved a vulnerable member of my family. Once again, the setting and food were excellent, but the staff was unwelcoming.

I recommend it. It's excellent.
