Great atmosphere in a cool setting, I'll be back for dinner

In the heart of the village of Fermanville, after wandering through the narrow streets, you'll find a village square with a bar/restaurant. As soon as you step inside, Irish music fills your ears. You're greeted with a smile and a kind word. You're immediately immersed in a family atmosphere. A varied menu offers something for everyone, and children are treated to smaller portions of the same menu. There's even a foosball table, a pool table, and darts. Occasional events, such as concerts and board game afternoons, are also organized. In short, a great time and a place worth discovering. Reservations for the restaurant are recommended.

L'Escale has recently changed owners. The decor and furniture have been updated. The set menu is excellent value for money, at €24 for a starter, main course, and dessert. The choice is rather limited (2 starters, 3 main courses, 2 desserts) as the menu changes very frequently. Everything is homemade; for example, the fries are excellent, and the brownie is anything but mass-produced. It's a place to remember! The only downside is the Irish music playing in the background; the volume could be lowered for greater comfort, as it eventually becomes difficult to talk to.

We came as a family on February 18th. We were blown away by the presentation and quality of the food. Honestly, everything was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert, and all for a very reasonable price. The welcome was warm and friendly. This place is magical. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

We came on February 14th. We ordered a menu with meat and a vegetarian option. It was delicious. The restaurant is very clean, the service is excellent, and the dishes are exquisite. It's a shame the vegetarian portion was so small. Thank you to Clément and Sarah for this wonderful meal.

A place that makes you feel good

Myself & family stayed in Le Tôt for a holiday in 1998, 27 years ago! My then wife & I patronised the bar regularly and I remember that le Patron was impressed at my ability to pack away the Calvados during that week. When I finished his bottle of calva 'fine' he let me migrate to 'hors d'Age' at the same price. Top fellow!

Had a delicious galette, friendly service, cozy atmosphere
