L'escale sur Villeblevin

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant; I don't regret my visit at all. We received a very warm welcome with two young children. A high chair was available, and they even lent my eldest a booster seat to make him more comfortable, which was incredibly kind. The food was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert (and even the amuse-bouche, for that matter). Special mention goes to the homemade fries, which were absolutely divine. All this was topped off with impeccable service. Finally, the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality offered. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We had an aperitif, but unfortunately, there was nothing to eat with it! The lack of cheese on the €50 menu shouldn't be an optional extra with dessert, but rather included in the set menu. Whether it was whole-grain or plain bread rolls, they would have been much better than the rather soggy pieces of baguette. Otherwise, everything we ate was good and fresh, as was the service. A few paintings and some greenery would have been a welcome addition to the dining room.

I used L'Escale 87 as my caterer for my birthday meal in February 2026. I wasn't disappointed. The canapés were beautiful and delicious, and the sauerkraut prepared by the chef was a huge hit with my guests. I highly recommend this establishment; the chef is attentive to our needs and extremely kind. Go without hesitation. Thank you again to the chef! I can't wait to dine at the restaurant.
