As loyal customers of the takeaway chip shop, we find the quality much better than when it first opened. The chips are also much better, and the cooking is perfect. However, we're giving it 3 stars because every time a restaurant staff member comes into the chip shop, they never say hello or smile – basic courtesy for any business. The chip shop staff are excellent, but the restaurant staff never greet the chip shop customers. It's a shame; they spoil all the friendly work done by the chip shop staff.

The setting is nice but still a bit noisy, otherwise the bavette with shallots is amazing, the fries are delicious, not to mention the pâté dieu which makes a superb, dry and noisy "plop" – the owner will understand.

We had a fantastic time at Augustin's! There were 12 of us, and we all agreed: the food was delicious. The meats were cooked to perfection, and the dishes were prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The service was 5-star: a top-notch team, always attentive, available, and very pleasant. Even though there were 12 of us, all the dishes arrived at the same time, which was much appreciated. The air-conditioned dining room is a real bonus, especially in hot weather. Don't change a thing, everything was perfect! We will definitely be back.
