L'Etoile de Marrakech sur Chateaudun

Friendly welcome. The chicken and meat tagine was too salty for my taste, very pretty 👍 but too dry, no sauce. They need to improve that, but after that, everything was fine 😉. However, something bothered me: the portion of homemade bread was reheated. The bread was very dry, and it wasn't even fresh. It smelled like bread that was at least two or three days old. Ideally, they should tell customers they're out of bread. But I still recommend people go and eat there; it's quite pleasant. I'm not criticizing, just suggesting improvements. Thank you for your welcome.

We've been going there for over 15 years, and it's a real treat. The owners are lovely. The food is absolutely delicious. It's a truly enjoyable experience every time. Thank you so much for everything.

Easter Sunday night in Chateaudun and there weren’t many places open to eat inside. We are both vegetarian and there was a lack of choice - vegetarian tajine or vegetarian couscous for main courses. We ordered one each and found them a little underwhelming for our British palates even with the harissa added to my couscous. The owner was very welcoming though and he allowed our dogs in which I was very grateful for.

We received a very warm welcome and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, from the couscous and tagine to the pastries and tea. I highly recommend it.

Very welcoming, quick service. I had the merguez couscous which was delicious and the portions were generous. I'll gladly come back!

The couscous was plentiful and very good, as was the mint tea. I recommend it.

We ordered couscous for the adults and hamburgers with fries for the children. It was tasty and filling. It's worth noting that the hamburger wasn't processed, but clearly homemade, with herbs and seasoning. Don't worry, it was very good, but it might surprise children, so I thought it was important to mention.
