In early July 2025, my family and I stayed in this area. We stumbled upon this charming pastry shop and had breakfast there two days, and we were very pleased. We enjoyed everything we tried: the savory and sweet options, the coffee, and the sandwiches. You take a number at the entrance, wait for your number to be called, then place your order, and it's prepared quickly. We had breakfast sitting in the small garden area outside. Our only problem was the language barrier, but the Turkish lady working there was very helpful. Thank you, Boulangerie Leyes.

They offer great products. But there's a waitress who's always standing right next to people and she keeps forgetting about them. Repeatedly. The others are great.

The products are good and of good quality, but unfortunately, I'm writing this review today because the service is poor. To be a good retailer, it's true that you need quality products, but customer service is paramount in a local business. The moment you ask questions about the products in the window, the sales assistants become irritated, as if the customer has a duty to know everything about the products. And what's more, they give out tap water to drink even though it's contaminated with PFAS.

26/11/2025: Honestly, not great. Two trout tarte flambées. Either they were both way overcooked, or just plain old but not good! And we pointed it out, so we might as well not say anything... Dessert was fine. But honestly, if tarte flambée is just going to be made with stale, crumbly bread, they shouldn't even be offered!
03/11/2025: It's a real shame that this institution of the Ludovician culinary world is closing. Where will we find our tripe, calf's head, and other Alsatian specialties in the future? Best of luck to all the staff.

06/07/2026: It was my first time there. We had a small family celebration. The food was fantastic! Beautifully presented, generous portions. The waiter, there's only one, is very pleasant, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, small, and charming. The restroom was spotless! So, I'll definitely be back! 💝
