I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Both the restaurant's decor and the food were delightful. The taste was exceptional. The ingredients were top-quality. It had been a long time since I'd had sausage with that authentic Norman flavor. And I mustn't forget the ice cream! I tried the Teurgoule and the Isigny caramel. Delicious! Fantastic time at L’Hippocampe in Saint-Pair!
Everything was delicious from start to finish. I began with an absolutely excellent cocktail, truly amazing 🍹
The savory buckwheat crepes, especially the scallop one, were simply perfect: flavorful and generously filled.
And what can I say about the desserts… a Nutella and salted caramel crepe to die for 🤍 accompanied by Tourgoule ice cream, pure bliss!
Honestly, I loved it. A place to try without hesitation, I will definitely be back!

Excellent crêperie, with a lovely decor and a very welcoming team.
One crucial detail: out of season, it's essential to book a reservation for a Friday evening... for the second seating at 8:45 pm!
The galettes and crêpes are a feast for the eyes, beautifully presented, and also a delight for the palate, especially since the wine selection is quite good.
As our best English rivals so aptly put it, "booking is essential!"
