Excellent restaurant
The food was of very high quality; all the dishes were delicious. The homemade ice cream and the apple compote crepe were incredible. Thank you for this experience.
The place is small, so when it's crowded, especially with children, it's a little harder to hear each other, but that's the only minor drawback.
The service was quick, and the waiter was very friendly and pleasant.
I recommend making a reservation in advance.

A superb lunch! We hadn't booked, arriving around 1:15 pm after leaving Joa restaurant, where we waited 35 minutes without being served... And then, what a pleasant surprise! At L'Hippocampe, they found us a table, the welcome was fantastic, the aperitif—a grapefruit Spritz, a delight—followed by a scallop galette, a real treat, not to mention the dessert, an excellent almond crepe. Everything was perfect; we highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

A first for me! Having been disappointed by galettes before, I was surprised by the quality of the food, and the dessert was simply amazing.
As a mother, I was seated in a cozy corner to keep me warm, which was a big thank you to them.
However, what I found a shame was that the tables were too close together. The couple next to us could talk, whereas when I was sharing a moment with my husband and a friend, it wasn't very pleasant.

Very, very satisfied, excellent meal, great atmosphere, I highly recommend it. We were just passing through St. Pair for a few days. A little hint: credit card details. A quick hello from the four of us from Coulommiers.
