L'Horizon sur Canet-En-Roussillon

I organized my boyfriend's (surprise) birthday 3 weeks in advance by calling to reserve a special dessert. I called back the same morning to find out it was ok, at reception they told me they would call me back when the pastry chef arrived. As a result, I didn't get a call back, my boyfriend didn't get his surprise dessert & what's more, when we arrived, the person who greeted us gave him a little "I think we're celebrating something today" hui” but never wished him a happy birthday. Even if it means ruining a surprise, you might as well go all the way next time

A magnificent setting which contrasts with the mediocrity of the restaurant. This is surprising given the prices of the menu and the setting which lends one to hope for a quality menu. We ordered lasagna for €26. We received a very small portion of a flavorless dish. Concerning the other dishes, the menu indicates homemade fries even though they were frozen fries. We contacted the waiter, but his reaction was not likely to correct this. Too bad but we won't come back...or only for the aperitif which was quality!

Magnificent terrace overlooking the beach with a beautiful view of the sea. The establishment is "classy" as is the waiters' attire (black pants, white shirt and tie). The welcome is perfect. The menu is short but the products are fresh, the cuisine is quality and the flavors interesting. Excellent attentive and smiling service from the waiters except from the sommelier who clearly does not know what a smile is, but also good service. Although we had recommended 2 glasses of wine and ours were not yet finished, he refilled our not yet empty glasses instead of bringing us two more. This is not acceptable from a sommelier in this type of establishment. That being said, he did not succeed in spoiling our evening which was very pleasant.

I am very surprised by the negative reviews of this restaurant, undoubtedly published by overly demanding customers. Everything was absolutely perfect, starting with the very attentive service. Go there with your eyes closed!

A superb room facing the sea, a careful menu (it was the evening of Easter Sunday), attentive and very professional service and what can we say about the dishes, refined, well presented and delicious. Certainly, the rating is high but honestly, at this price, eating in a Michelin-starred restaurant of such quality is exceptional!

Repas succulent dans un cadre exceptionnel vue sur mer. Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille. Le service était parfait et chaleureux.

Je vous remercie sincèrement. Tout était parfait : le restaurant, le personnel et l'organisation étaient impeccables, permettant aux clients de se sentir très bien. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi certaines personnes se permettent de faire des remarques désobligeantes dans certains commentaires. J'ai très bien mangé et le service a été rapide et souriant. Merci beaucoup à vous tous, car je traversais une période difficile, mon séjour à l'hôtel et au restaurant m'a redonné goût à certaines choses. A TRÈS BIENTÔT 😊 Madame et Monsieur EDIER🙏🏽
