Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff & a lovely place to eat - a shame it was too cold to sit outside where the views are fantastic. Not cheap but well worth it for the food & experience. I'll definitely be going again.

Everything is good and put on the plate with a big heart. The boss makes the trip to Rungis every week to bring back the best fresh produce. His attentive wife cooks with tradition and gentleness. It is impossible not to melt with nostalgic emotion in front of the local flavors composed with expertise, which are tasted at Bourg D’hem. From the beautiful terrace, looking at the magnificent landscape of the Creuse valley, the notion of culinary happiness invades you.
Special mention for the attentive and friendly service provided by the boss and his niece who comes to bring her willingness to participate in the courageous family work. Exceptional mention for the homemade bread which is a treat. Mention for the remarkable choice of delicious champagne that you can treat yourself to for a romantic aperitif, accompanied by homemade twists.
To summarize: the Hostellerie Du Bourg d'Hem is a sweet house of pleasures whose will and heart I wanted to thank.
De la très bonne cuisine ! Que des bons produits & assiettes magnifiquement présentées ! Le tout dans un décors champêtre et reposant ! Très bon accueil. Nous reviendrons lors d'un passage dans la région.
Wederom fantastisch lekker gegeten. De heather en gastvrouw zijn erg gastvrij! Het eten is heerlijk. Alle gerechten zijn voorzien van groenten fruit en kruiden vanuit eigen tuib. Het vlees en de vis zijn vers en smaken heerlijk.
This quality surprised us and our friends, especially since everything is homemade, with regional products. There you can find all the good products from Creuse and other regions. The chef is very friendly and helpful and the dishes were superb. Everything was perfect 👍. THANKS !
