L'Olivade sur Verson

The atmosphere was calm in the restaurant this evening – perhaps a little background music would have made it more convivial! The food was good – the €18.50 set menu was good value for money, to be honest. I ordered a butternut squash "velouté," but it was more like a soup. The main course was very good and a generous portion. I enjoyed the homemade ratatouille. However, the panna cotta wasn't really panna cotta… I was very disappointed with that… you couldn't taste the heavy cream, and there wasn't even any vanilla in it. It was lumpy. But the red fruit coulis was homemade, so it was fine; I let my partner finish it. The other dishes, the homemade pork rillettes, were very good but a little tough, but the main course, which was a real treat, was actually quite good. The welcome and service were good – no complaints! I might recommend ordering a different type of bread. We have two bakeries in Verson, it would be nice to buy some better quality bread! I'll still come back sometime! 😊👍🏻

Good restaurant with beautifully presented dishes and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The daily menu is reasonably priced. The service is quick and always pleasant. I recommend it.

Great place with good food and excellent value for money + efficient service

The starter and main course were good, but the portions were small, so don't expect a big appetite. I was disappointed with the dessert (the "café gourmand") and it was a shame they ran out of bread with the cheese plate. The waitresses were lovely.
