A perfect evening. Friendly and always available staff. There's a true chef in the kitchen who expertly blends ingredients and the intensity of flavors. Well done to him, and I hope he receives the recognition he deserves.

WOW, what an amazing surprise! We are quite demanding when it comes to restaurants, but I have to say this one was absolutely exceptional. From the food, which was a true experience, to the impeccable service - everything was 10/10 ⭐️ We had such a wonderful evening and would highly recommend it! 🤩

For a birthday celebration, we headed straight to "L'Olivier" restaurant, following a recommendation. The long journey from Sicily to Montgenèvre was a delight, both visually and gastronomically. The food was a feast, a tasting experience enhanced by its simplicity and visual and gustatory complexity. Each bite of every dish transported us to the carefully chosen locations along the Durance River. A succulent meal, served with care.

When will it get a star? An incredible establishment... friendliness, class, and elegance... the story of a chef and an identity felt on the plate... Flawless... we've eaten in 3-star establishments, but we preferred to eat at your place... I regret not being from the region so I could make it my home base... Unbeatable value for money and service... Dishes with pronounced, subtle aromas and flavors... A helpful, courteous, and friendly head waiter... Pleasant staff... one of the owners (very pleasant) greeted us... Nothing to say except thank you and congratulations... see you soon.

It's simply impossible not to give this extraordinary restaurant five stars. And don't even get me started on the incredible value for money... perfect service, sublime cuisine. I'm sad I don't live closer so I can come more often. I have absolutely no complaints about this gem, except that I wish there were always more and more dishes in the pot on the table! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Everything was perfect. The service included more than 10 courses of discovery (70 euro menu). The cuisine was delicate, fragrant, and inventive: honestly, I have never had a similar culinary experience. And I'm really recommending it to everyone I know… to anyone who might be interested in such a culinary journey. Don't hesitate, it's exceptional. Thank you, Chef… and thank you to all the staff (and especially Philippe) because the service was truly outstanding.

We went on the evening of July 29, 2026... Absolutely perfect! Everything was superb, the service was impeccable, no downtime. The unique €70 menu evokes the aromas of the Durance River; the flavors and aromas burst in the mouth. The waiter even challenged us to guess the ingredients of a meatball (I hesitated but figured it out). There were four of us, and we were all unanimous in our praise of the quality, especially my Japanese wife and my 49 years of cooking experience. A real surprise, and we'll definitely be back, depending on the season and the menu that reflects the day's freshest ingredients. A huge congratulations again to Christophe and his team. I'm telling my wife's nephew, a 3-Michelin-starred chef in Singapore, about it today. - Jacky
