L'Orange Verte sur Paris

We loved our meal. To do again :)

A very authentic French restaurant with excellent food and nice service. The prices are absolutely reasonable and the menu really fills you up. It's worth another evening the next time you visit Paris.

I find myself forced to write a barely positive review due to the owner's pseudo-astuteness. We choose this restaurant attracted by the 50% thefork discount. Once we arrive, we notice on the menu that there is a fixed menu (starter, first course and dessert) and we ask the owner if that also included the fork discount. he answers yes. however, when you pay the bill, you will be credited with the full price. At that point we point out to him that we had asked on purpose and to then discount the individual dishes. with several grumbles, he gives us a new receipt for a few euros less. checking later, he had not served 2 courses out of 6 as expected. in practice he had to take away an additional 15 euros or so. Now, no one is forcing you to put the fork and these discounts but if you do you don't try to cheat people also because if I come with a 50% discount do you think I'll be happy with the fixed menu discounted by a few euros compared to the à la carte menu? and it's a shame because everything we ate was good but it's clear that if you go here you will need to be VERY careful when the bill arrives.

We could easily walk past without stopping... that would be a mistake! The site is warm, welcoming and the family cooking is excellent from start to finish. The wine is very good and very reasonably priced. Don't go and eat anything else, stop here: you won't regret it.

Très bon dîner dans ce restaurant situé à deux pas de la Gare du Nord. L'entrée et les plats ont été délicieux ainsi que le vin, un pinot noir. L'accueil et le service ont été agréables. La carte propose un choix d'entrées, de plats et de desserts qui permet de trouver son bonheur. Je recommande ce restaurant.

Servicio y comida excelentes. Lugar acogedor y tranquilo en el centro de París.
