05/04/2024: It is an intimate place that must be discovered. This young couple, in charge since November 2022, has taken over this business. Imagination, creativity but also tradition: it’s an alchemy that works perfectly. The chef, former second in command under the previous owner, works with great elegance and precision behind the stove. In the dining room, his companion, as hostess, is a charming hostess, whose attentiveness and advice are matched only by the discretion and efficiency of the service. Beautifully executed hot oysters and perfectly cooked squab are just a glimpse of the current menu. If Michelin is very laconic in its 2024 commentary, there is no doubt that this promising establishment should be rewarded with the Bibendum soon, provided that an inspector has the courage to come to the Normandy countryside. 04/04/2024: Superb lunch in this lovely restaurant in the heart of a pretty village. A warm welcome although we hadn't booked, good service and exceptional cooking. It was especially nice to see some imaginative vegetarian options which were prepared as thoughtfully as the meat and fish dishes. Our only small criticism is that there were too many amuses bouches which we felt were superfluous, both at the beginning and end of the meal! In a sense they detracted from the main dishes, which were high quality. The restaurant is in a nice old building and the ambiance was very nice, parking was easy. Highly recommended.
