L'Oscarine sur Meze

Great location on the edge of the Thau Lagoon. The menu offers a variety of choices, including vegetarian options. I personally really enjoyed the parmigiana.

On August 12, 2026, we received a warm welcome and prompt service, enjoying delicious salads and Bouzigues oysters paired with a Picpoul de Pinet. A truly excellent stop in Mèze, by the lagoon. Go without hesitation.

Back from vacation and a lunch break in Mèze. We stumbled upon L'Oscarine. A very pleasant discovery, generous portions and delicious food. I ordered the grilled cuttlefish, perfectly cooked and tender. I was able to swap my vegetables for fries, and they definitely tasted homemade. The restaurant is located on the shores of Lake Tau, a very pleasant place to eat and easily accessible. The staff was friendly and there was little waiting after ordering. My only slight criticism was the somewhat overly familiar manner towards customers, which was a little awkward, but not insulting. I'm not used to being addressed informally by waiters or called "darling." However, I highly recommend it if you have the chance to stop in Mèze, and I wouldn't hesitate to return if I'm in the area. A place to remember! 😊

On the edge of the Thau Lagoon...superb view and excellent value for money, you can even easily get there from Sète by shuttle...first time and back as soon as possible

We loved this restaurant overlooking the Thau Lagoon. The welcome was warm, with a dynamic and very friendly team. The dishes we tasted were excellent, with fresh, high-quality fish, perfectly prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the homemade dessert! I highly recommend it!!!
