L'Osteria du Prado sur Marseille

It's wonderful to see traditional restaurants thriving like this. Excellent food, extremely friendly, courteous, and welcoming staff, and impeccable service from the moment we walked in. We were looking for an authentic place to spend a lovely evening, and we weren't disappointed. (The restrooms were spotless!) The portions were generous, and the desserts were delicious! We'll be back!

Very good restaurant with authentic decor

Excellent We had lunch there as a couple on Thursday, March 12, 2026. We received a very warm welcome; the waitress and waiters were friendly, smiling, and efficient. The setting was pleasant (the ceiling is striking...). The waitress gave us time to enjoy an aperitif before our main courses were served. We chose the daily special: filet mignon Rossini with Chianti jus and fresh fries. The dish was beautifully presented, and what's more, it was surprisingly delicious. The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly cooked, just the right amount of flavorful—it was excellent. The fries were also excellent, prepared with herbs de Provence, which was a delightful touch. We paired it with a Figuières red wine from Provence, which was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The quality of the food, the lovely dining room, and the pleasant and efficient service were all wonderful. Thank you to the entire team. The dishes were well-prepared: Bocconcini, Calabrian sausage, Arrabbiata pesto, Dolci... A Figuières rosé wine was perfect. We enjoyed our lunch: the quality of the food, the lovely dining room, the cloth napkins, and the pleasant service.

Friendly welcome and service. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff's kindness, as well as the delicious food. It's an excellent place; we look forward to returning on every business trip to Marseille.

A lovely place. The fried artichoke as an appetizer was a very pleasant surprise. And don't hesitate to try the goat's milk meat; it's quite rare.

Family-run Italian restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Excellent food, especially the pizzas. Open year-round, but particularly pleasant in summer on the outdoor terrace.
