Lou barzac sur Nant

A delightful stop at Lou Barzac. The positive reviews are absolutely spot on. A very warm welcome despite a packed terrace in early August. Pierre, the manager and chef, along with his sous-chef, prepares carefully prepared and well-seasoned cuisine. We tried the salads (generous and perfectly dressed), but the tapas and grilled dishes at neighboring tables looked just as delicious. Thank you for your hospitality, your smiles (the manager's wife is equally kind), and your tasty dishes. Originally from Isère, we will return to Aveyron for our next holiday and will gladly stay with you again.

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant! The portions are generous, the food delicious, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. One thoughtful touch that particularly touched us: they offered us my daughter's syrup on the house—a simple gesture that, sadly, is becoming quite rare. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful meal and for your kindness. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent tapas restaurant! The dishes are delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and served in very generous portions. The portions are perfect for sharing and discovering several specialties. The value for money is truly excellent; you definitely get your money's worth. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is friendly. A wonderful place that I highly recommend; we will gladly return!

A small, local shop just the way we like them. They have everything we need in terms of games, odds and ends, and the like.

I had a truly wonderful meal. The portions were generous, both in quantity and flavor. You can tell it's real cooking, made with passion and heart. Each dish had something special, a lot of flavor, comfort, and even emotion on the plate. You can clearly feel that the chef puts love into what he does, and that's becoming rare these days. A sincere and welcoming place that I recommend without hesitation. A truly wonderful discovery! The owner is incredibly kind, and his cooking is simply delicious. The service was very pleasant. We received excellent advice and were looked after throughout the meal. Top-notch service and cuisine; we enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! We will definitely be back. (One suggestion: remove the balsamic vinaigrette on top.)

A complete discovery, and what a discovery it was! After a stroll through the old town of Nant, the team welcomed us with big smiles, in a relaxed yet incredibly hospitable manner. A very pleasant gentleman guided us and presented the menu, answering our many questions. Our choices were absolutely delicious, and very reasonably priced! Highly recommended!
