Luosi rice noodles: a surprise! The smell isn't very strong.
Spicy pork bao: I don't like it. Too spicy!

They have so many kinds of steamed buns! It's my first time trying hot pot flavored steamed buns! The snail rice noodles are definitely different from the instant kind, and the freshly fried tofu skin is super crispy! The taste is also very good! Highly recommended!

Paris finally has its own snail rice noodle shop! Located near Galeries Lafayette, this new Asian culinary landmark in the 9th arrondissement has truly saved my Chinese stomach.
As the first dedicated snail rice noodle shop in Paris, the broth is rich and flavorful, the pickled bamboo shoots are delicious, and the best part is the optional spiciness level—Guangdong friends needn't worry at all, the mild version is gentle enough to still taste the freshness of the broth. The rice noodles are smooth and chewy, and the fried tofu skin soaks up the broth perfectly, making each bite incredibly satisfying.
But what truly surprised me were their handmade buns! The owner said they're all made fresh daily, refusing pre-made ingredients, and you can tell the difference with just one bite—the dough is fluffy and soft, and the filling is fresh and substantial. I highly recommend the chicken and cabbage filling; it's sweet and juicy, completely unlike the greasy traditional buns. The hot pot minced meat filling is even more creative, carrying the aroma of hot pot broth, mildly spicy and satisfying, with an irresistible meaty flavor.
The location is incredibly convenient; after shopping at Galeries Lafayette, it's just a five-minute walk. A bowl of noodles and a couple of buns make even a rainy day in Paris feel lovely.

The highlight here is the truly handmade steamed buns.
The dough is kneaded, fermented, filled, and steamed daily – you can tell they're not industrially produced. The dough is soft yet chewy, and the meat filling is fresh, juicy, and flavorful. The hot pot spicy bun is a must-order; it's fragrant, spicy, and slightly numbing – incredibly addictive. They also offer pork and corn, shrimp and cabbage, cheese and ham, and other flavors – quite a few choices.
Unexpectedly, they even have fresh snail rice noodles! The tangy and spicy flavor is rich and flavorful, the broth is perfectly seasoned. Finding snail rice noodles of this caliber in Paris is truly satisfying. Plus, you don't have to cook it at home; it's freshly ordered and ready to eat – so convenient!
The average price per person is low, making it very cost-effective for the Opera House area.

Near the opera house, the steamed buns are handmade daily, kneaded, wrapped, and steamed to order—not the frozen and reheated kind. The dough is soft yet chewy, and when you bite into it, you can see the generous meat filling with just the right amount of juice.
I especially recommend the hot pot spicy bun; it's fragrant, spicy, and slightly numbing, but not unbearably so, with a very layered flavor. The pork and corn bun and the shrimp and cabbage bun are also excellent, no disappointments.
Even more surprising is that they also have fresh snail rice noodles. The broth is tangy, spicy, and appetizing, with an authentic flavor and plenty of toppings. Being able to enjoy a bowl of freshly made snail rice noodles anytime in Paris is such a blessing, and you don't have to worry about the smell being too strong when you make it at home 😂 The price is also very reasonable—3 buns for 8 euros, which is quite affordable for this area. It's inexpensive per person, perfect for a hot Chinese snack while working or shopping nearby.
I would definitely buy from them again.

The first handmade bun shop in Paris to serve snail rice noodles. Their Sichuan-style spicy buns are delicious, and they also offer other flavors like ham and cheese, shrimp, and pork. The snail rice noodle soup base tastes just like the ones in Chinese night markets, and the pickled bamboo shoots are a fantastic seasoning. Delicious! 😋 I'll definitely go back!
