Marsico Nuovo sur Hyeres

We ordered two pizzas which were excellent, but also a shellfish pasta which I highly recommend. The place was peaceful facing the port which was magnificent.

We ate there as a couple and everything went well down to the main course (two pizzas), both the tapas as starters were rather good, as well as the famous wood-fired pizzas, homemade, well nothing special, rather disappointing for the service expected for this price. Surely the products used and the tomato sauce recipe lacked taste.

Very pleasant service even if not very fast, afterward there were a lot of people. We had a place on the terrace which is very pleasant in the evening with the market on the port. The chicken mussels are very good.

We discovered this restaurant during our walk on the port and the menu was very attractive. We were lucky to have a table available straight away. Quick ordering and quick service too. The meals were very good and plentiful. The only downside was that once our dishes were finished, a young waiter started to clear our table and removed 2 out of 3 place settings. We therefore waited to be cleared of the rest of the place settings in order to be able to have a small dessert, but no luck. After 45 minutes of waiting (and no one told me there was a gunshot or anything else because 3 waiters walked by our table looking at the rest to be cleared but everyone passed his way without doing anything else or serving anyone else).... in short at the end of this waiting time, we decided to leave without our daughter having had her ice cream. Once at the counter to pay and after thinking about it, only at that moment were we offered ice cream for our daughter.... even though our table was strangely already cleared as soon as we had left.... I find this lack of organization really unfortunate. It seems like no one knows what to do...

We came across this restaurant by chance this Monday, July 8. We all ordered fried chicken, well stocked dish, quick service, nothing to say. Beautiful establishment!

Friendliness remains to be desired towards the end of the service... when we hear that the "big table is annoying" as well as other remarks when we are in the toilet. (Perhaps think about better insulating the door) while we are the only large table with people with motor disabilities for the rest, it's okay.
