In the year of grace when hunger tormented me, I found refuge in the noble abode of McDonald’s in Altkirch. There, a feast was served to me with the swiftness of a royal messenger: hot and savory dishes, crispy golden apples, and a courteous welcome like that of a lordly castle. Fantastic experience! Fast and efficient service, even during peak hours. The team is welcoming, friendly, and professional. The restaurant is clean, the tables are well-maintained, and the order was exactly as ordered—hot and perfectly prepared. Special mention for the speed of the drive-thru and the staff's kindness. Arrived at 8:45 PM, great atmosphere, clean (floor and tables) despite a few people at the kiosks, took my order from Ethan at the counter who was very welcoming, kind and incredibly patient, very professional!!!!

22/02/2026: A high-end restaurant that's fast and welcoming, with appetizers etc. I recommend it; prices vary from menus at 45 to 80, there's something for everyone.
21/02/2026: It's always a pleasure for me to return to the Auberge Sundgovienne: a beautiful hotel and restaurant expertly run by the Hermann family. The restaurant's dining room is cozy and chic, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I had a wonderful meal, as usual. If I had one suggestion, it would be that the €23 set menu be more elaborate; it's sometimes a little too simplistic considering the overall quality of the establishment and the rest of the menu. 08/03/2026: Hello, a heads-up to all food lovers and epicureans! We ate the fried food and all the accompanying dishes, a truly wonderful experience, absolutely delicious. The food, service, and welcome were top-notch, very pleasantly friendly, and very professional. Thank you to A La Couronne and its staff; we had a truly royal evening. Thank you!
21/02/2026: All-you-can-eat fried carp lovers, this is the place for you!!! The carp is crispy and the homemade fries are a real treat. However, desserts aren't their strong point (no homemade tarts on the menu, the chestnut tart was too sweet, and the iced kugelhopf was uninteresting). Luckily, we came for the carp. The service was incredibly fast, and the waiters were excellent. It's a shame there's no wheelchair access, but no worries, there are staff with strong muscles to help you carry things.
