At Mei, it's all about the taste!
It's not always easy to find the right time to eat there, or even to see the menu online.
The restaurant's ambiance is simple and elegant. But at Mei, I don't want to talk about any of that. The most important thing is what's on the plate. It's simple, and the focus is on the flavor.
I highly recommend it.

Hi, on my way to my seminar on Île de Ré, I decided to stop at Le Mei restaurant on a recommendation. In a welcoming atmosphere, all the ingredients are fresh and prepared on-site; I highly recommend their chicken bao bun.

We got crispy chicken bao to go. They were excellent, exactly what I expected. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the bread was very soft, the salad added freshness, and the sauce was delicious. You can tell it's homemade, which is a real treat. The shrimp chips were tasty too. I'm definitely making a note of the address to come back. The restaurant was nicely decorated, and the service was very pleasant.

Having had lunch and dinner there many times, I highly recommend this restaurant. In addition to the delicious food (a far cry from your average Chinese restaurant), you'll appreciate the very friendly and smiling hosts and servers. Don't hesitate, treat yourself!
