I have a soft spot for this bar located right in front of Ascq train station. I popped in on a whim for a coffee between appointments, and I really enjoyed the place.
It's a true neighborhood bistro, simple, frequented by regulars, with a friendly atmosphere. The owner is very welcoming, the prices are reasonable, and the unpretentious decor adds to the charm of the place. A bar "like in the old days," which also sells tobacco and PMU (betting), with real character and without trying too hard.
I don't often pass through the area, but if the opportunity arises again, I'll gladly return.
