Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais Restaurant sur Nice

We have just had the most wonderful stay at the Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais and I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The team on reception were exceptional – always smiling, friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they really made our family feel valued throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic every morning, with an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality food. The breakfast staff were so attentive and welcoming, making each morning a lovely start to the day. A special mention has to go to the housekeeping team, who completely won our hearts. We were travelling with our four-year-old son, and every day they carefully arranged his favourite toy in a different funny position around the room, making it look as though it had come to life while we were out exploring Nice. Watching our son discover what his toy had been "up to" each afternoon became one of the highlights of our holiday and created such magical family memories. It's those thoughtful little touches that you simply can't put a price on. Finally, on our departure day, our son fell asleep just before checkout. Rather than rushing us, the hotel very kindly allowed us to keep the room a little longer so he could finish his nap. As parents, this small act of kindness made a huge difference and perfectly sums up the level of care and understanding shown by the staff throughout our stay. The location couldn't be better, right on the Promenade des Anglais and within easy walking distance of the Old Town, beach and countless restaurants. Thank you to everyone at the Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais for making our family holiday so special. We will leave with wonderful memories and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Nice.

The hotel has been renovated and is clean, and the staff at reception are very friendly and accommodating.

The location is perfect, on the Promenade, with everything within easy reach, close to many dinning restaurants. The room was clean, the shower was great. We had a city view room but still we were able to see the sea.

We loved the decor and timelessness of this hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. The position was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. Special mention to Dorothée who provided us with a couple of wonderful restaurants.

We had a sea view room with a comfortable king-size bed. The shower was great with copious hot water. I regard a good-sized comfortable bed and a decent walk-in shower as fundamental requirements for a hotel stay, which many other nearby hotels seem unable to deliver, even for 300 euro per night! The room cleaning was prompt and well done. There were some renovations ongoing during our stay but these didn’t affect us at all. The location made cafes, restaurants and the old town easily accessible on foot. We had an enjoyable 5 night stay.

A great location. Our room overlooked the beach and we were only a block from great restaurants. An easy walk to the train station if you want to go to Monte Carlo for the day ie 20 minutes by train. Can highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel: the location was ideal, within walking distance of all the sights, and the sea was right outside. The view was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were newly renovated and very clean.

I stayed alone at this hotel and everything went well. The room was clean with a lovely sea view. The location is fantastic for exploring Nice on foot. The staff is welcoming. Overall, a good experience.

The positives are the location and mostly friendly staff. However, it doesn't live up to 4 stars. More like 3. Poor breakfast and worn out rooms.
