Monsieur Brun sur Cassis

Thank you to Thibault for his service. It's a pleasure to see such attention to detail. The shellfish/seafood platter was delicious. A little ray of sunshine and a good bottle of white wine made for an excellent time. Thank you to the team.

Monsieur Brun A seaside restaurant in Cassis, with outdoor tables overlooking the water. We ate outside in the blazing sun... on December 28th: ​​a simply fantastic moment, almost unreal for the season. We waited in line for about half an hour, but the wait was more than worth it. The seafood was extraordinary: oysters, mussels, sea snails, all very fresh, of excellent quality, and served without unnecessary frills, as it should be when the ingredients are the protagonist. All accompanied by a wine I adore and that is truly iconic here: Domaine du Paternel, a typical Cassis wine, perfect with seafood and absolutely worth trying. The only slightly imperfection was the service, a bit pressured—but completely understandable given the crowd, the full restaurant, and the continuous line of people waiting. The staff was visibly stressed, but that didn't detract from the experience in the slightest. In short: a superb experience, a unique atmosphere, top-notch quality, and a lunch that will stay with you forever. Monsieur Brun is one of those places that's truly worth the wait. 🌊🦪🍷

A pleasant surprise during our visit: excellent service, affordable seafood platters. The terrace overlooking the harbor was ideal for enjoying the moment. I highly recommend it!

I was expecting a tourist trap but the value for money is decent, the waiter is pleasant and the setting is magnificent.

Breakfast at Monsieur Brun's is a classic and brought back so many childhood memories. The atmosphere is lovely, right on the port of Cassis, though a little less so in the summer when the crowds of tourists somewhat spoil the ambiance. However, the service remains welcoming and the breakfast is hearty and excellent! Don't hesitate to come, even just once, to try it out.

We had lunch at 2 p.m., everything was perfect. The welcome was warm, I recommend Mr. Seguin's salad with goat's cheese brick, excellent. My companion had the Mr. Brun salad, salmon, shrimp, and lemon whipped cream, which was great. The gourmet coffee is to die for! Thanks again for this pleasant moment facing the port.
