An excellent South Indian paratha spot that does not water down its food, or identity for the French market. This naturally means it caters to the South Indian diaspora or people who are familiar with the culinary culture and modus operandi of such eateries. I.e., if you come here expecting the service of a bistro or even a cafe, you’d be sorely disappointed. This spot is a slice of south India in the most charming way. The parottas are freshly made and the mutton curry was excellent. Ask for less spicy options if your dining companions can’t take spicy food. I’ll be back for sure.

The best in the area, by far. When you see people from their community (Indian or Sri Lankan) eating there, you know you're in the right place. Best parotha in all of Île-de-France and best kotu parotha. Helpful and discreet welcome; we ate there with a child. Fast service, very reasonable prices.

I tried the non vege thali set, paratha, and tea. The non vege thali set just taste normal nothing extra ordinary and even the tea is nothing great.. but the paratha is must try.. taste was really good. The place is very small, you need to leave as soon you are done as people is waiting for table. However the service was really good.

Authentic cuisine, very tasty. Spice level adjusted to Western sensibilities. The chicken tikka had a lot of bones. Everything is very cramped and bustling; expect a bit of a wait during peak hours. Overall, recommended.

This is a very Indian-style restaurant. It seems to be a popular place, as there's always a line. The tandoori chicken and the briani (Indian fried rice) are delicious.

24/07/2026: Still dreaming about that fish curry thaali. It was so good and as authentic as it gets. Even though I missed matta rice, the rest of the thaali floored even this picky malayalee whose favorite google maps search in any new country she visits is appam. Such a great find in Paris!

16/06/2026: A family-run Indian restaurant on Rue de Vaugirard, easily accessible by metro. Very welcoming service. A wide selection of exquisite homemade dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb Madras and garlic naan. The meat was incredibly tender. I highly recommend this Indian restaurant.
05/05/2026: As for the meal, the Indian food was authentic and delicious—the spices were perfectly balanced and everything tasted fresh. We were also really impressed with the quantity and quality of the portions; you definitely get your money's worth without any compromise on the taste.
