A really lovely pastry shop. The cakes are delicious and beautiful. The owner let us taste the durian that's used as a base in some of the cakes. He's a friendly man and very eager to chat with customers.

A little discovery! The Durian Yule log is really very good (it's rare to find durian cakes that aren't too strong), and the service was top-notch too!

I love this shop, they make amazing cakes. I often go there to buy them for birthdays. There's also a nice little tea room; we've had tea there before, it's lovely, and the people are friendly too.

08/04/2026: I had the Express Menu for €8.90, a single dish of caramelized pork with Cantonese rice. I also ordered the steamed dumpling menu: 6 dumplings of my choice with a side dish. The place was clean and there were restrooms, but still no hand towels. A pleasant place overall. In May 2024, I had the €7.50 menu: 3 pork spring rolls (good), a large chicken skewer (very good), and Chinese vermicelli noodles on the side, which lacked seasoning. The restrooms were clean, but there were no hand towels. A pleasant place overall.
07/03/2026: Pretty good overall, but the "Madam, that'll be €7, we accept cards for purchases over €10" message is a bit much, especially since it's not indicated anywhere. It's a legal requirement to display this information before the checkout to inform potential customers.

Villa Thai restaurant

30/11/2025: Found this wonderful, inviting restaurant on my solo walk to the Eiffel Tower. I had the Prix Fixe dinner: spring rolls, Thai Beef with Basil, and the most scrumptious coconut flan with coconut icecream. I also had one the specialty cocktails and it was so delicious (don't remember what it was called, but it was green magic)! Truly one of the most unexpected and delicious meals of my week in Paris! By the time I left the restaurant at 9:30 pm, it was completely packed with mostly locals. That's a great sign of a popular place. Highly recommend this gorgeous and top quality restaurant!!
27/11/2025: During our stay in Paris we tried Villa Thai the first time and came back a second time Because the food was so amazing. Personally this was the best Thai food I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend them if you’re in Paris. You won’t be disappointed! Their customer service is 10/10, as well.
