John from Kannur made this visit wonderful. From the minute we approached the restaurant he made sure that our every need and want was seen to promptly. The location was perfect. The food, amazing! If you have the deep urge for spicy, southern Indian food, this is the place. You will not be disappointed. Every bite was straight from Kerala. Thank you for making our visit perfect John!

Our family's favorite restaurant since more than 5 years now, delicious dishes like biryani, tandoori, chicken 65, Appams, Rasam are our preferred choices there that we often order. If there's one suggestion that I could make and request the Restaurant owners, 'Please avoid adding artificial colors to those fried fish and tandooris' to make them look red.

We had a chicken thali and a fish thali, everything was really good! Chicken, fish, curries... It’s plentiful, the cheese naan was so good! THANKS !!!

Very good Indian culinary restaurant. Different varieties of South East Indian dishes. The delicious lamb biriyani, not to mention the dosas (savory pancake) which are worth it. The cuisine being halal, I strongly recommend the restaurant for its taste and affordable price. The children particularly liked the lassi and milkshakes.

Excellent food and great portion size! We had ordered a vegetarian meal and chicken Kotthu. Very impressed by the taste and the service. Definitely recommended.

Typical Indian style cafe, mostly you will find the South Indian flavours. Quality and the quantity is enough for the traveller. Very friendly staff, Kudos to them.

02/09/2024: I think this one is cheap and affordable restaurant in busy area.. Halal cheap and best i can say.. food is good, quantity was little less for my because i was too much hungry but they give me extra rice without money.. free water too.. i think you cant find like this one.. Big shout to baseer bhai, really good guy.. they do thali at afternoon time..
22/08/2024: The food was disappointing overall. The Nihari lacked flavor, and the biryani was more like a pulao. The Seekh kebab was very dry, and the portion sizes were quite small for the price. Lastly, Kulfi is not made in-house, it is store bought. Service needs work too – they take your order, bring the food, and then disappear until you flag them down. On the positive side, the restaurant is clean, and the ambiance is nice, though it could use some background music to enhance the vibe.

24/05/2024: I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Samrat Hotel and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the delicious Indian cuisine. Each dish was a perfect blend of authentic flavors and spices, making it a delightful culinary journey. The staff at Samrat Hotel were incredibly courteous and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant dining experience. Their warm hospitality and excellent service truly stood out and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The ambiance of the hotel was also noteworthy – elegant yet cozy, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. Whether you're a fan of Indian food or looking to try it for the first time, Samrat Hotel is definitely a place I would highly recommend. I look forward to returning and trying more of their delectable offerings!
