Excellent restaurant with very welcoming and friendly staff. I've been several times and whenever I have the chance to introduce it to a friend, I don't hesitate. It's here that I discovered lamb shai korma, which is my favorite dish at this restaurant. I highly recommend it!

The three of us had a wonderful time tonight at New Balal Opéra!! Everything was delicious and very generous, the servers were lovely, and the music was pleasant. We highly recommend it :D

28/07/2026: Excellent restaurant tucked away on a small street near Montmartre... very popular with lovers of the rich flavors of Afghan cuisine. The traditional kabuli and the Moysha (lamb shank) are excellent, and for a drink, I tried a Dohr, a slightly salty drink with yogurt, cucumber, mint, and lemon. A real treat! Reservations are highly recommended.
