New Saigon sur Aix-En-Provence

I came on June 11th with my two brothers, one of whom is a regular. We had a very good meal, and it was very pleasant to find a welcome coolness inside despite the summer heat. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I fully intend to return.

Always a warm welcome. Very varied and fresh dishes. All-you-can-eat for €17.50 on weekdays – unbeatable value for money.

A pleasant, welcoming, family-run restaurant, and above all, very good food.

The buffet was exceptionally clean and varied, with delicious flavors in every dish. The welcome and service were impeccable; truly nothing to complain about.

I usually love this kind of place, but I felt the quality had declined and the service wasn't as attentive as usual. The water bowls for scooping ice cream were very dirty, the flavors in the ice cream tubs were mixed because of the dirty scoop, and the ice cream was crystallized because the tub wasn't properly closed. Some of the spring rolls were overcooked and dry. Before giving up on this disappointment, I'll give it one last try, hoping not to end on a negative note.

Sufficient choice. Much better than those gigantic Chinese buffets where the freshness leaves much to be desired.

Overall, it's pretty good. The wok dish is quick (though it was a weekday lunchtime). The variety isn't huge, but it's sufficient. There's more than enough to satisfy someone used to this type of restaurant. However, there are two negative points: 1 - The price displayed doesn't match the one listed on the website. Updates are usually quick these days. The difference is small, but still a shame... 2 - The allergens! I'd like to remind everyone that the consumer code stipulates that allergen information is MANDATORY and must be accessible to customers, either on the website or freely available for consultation. I didn't see it. I've been to larger all-you-can-eat Asian restaurants where it was listed for every dish. So, no excuses! This means I won't be returning with my family, as there are some with allergies.
