NEZ! Bar à Vins sur Gigondas

This was my third visit to this restaurant The first time, we ate on the terrace, it was just divine. The second time, indoors due to the weather, was very good too, but then this last time! Total rubbish! I won't tell you what was wrong, since nothing was wrong! But really, nothing! One thing to say Such an establishment, with such pretensions, cannot do without a head waiter or a room manager and even less so a sommelier! The best is to close during their days of rest, it will cause you less harm

Stopped by for lunch one day to find a noteworthy restaurant. We did not have a recommendation, but the staff arranged a table for us in short order. The setting was spectacular, sitting outside amongst trees and rocks of their terrace. Our wait staff could not have been better -- they treated us like VIPs, explaining the menu and with navigating the local wine list. In fact, the sommelier brought a couple of wines by for me to sample before making a final selection. Nice!! For lunch we had a bone marrow-- beef bone, cut in half, where you scoop out the marrow. Interesting and sublime. Wow the taste. Next came the main plat which was a perfectly seared tuna steak. ...and the wine from Gigondas, made for a memorable and fun meal. Reasonably priced, this was a class act from the service, ambiance and especially the food.

A very nice moment in this establishment. It all starts with the welcome and the service, including an exchange with the sommelier who gave us a very nice program (the price per person is mainly because of the wine, not the price of the food). The manager was very intentional (thank you for the little exchanges which made these moments more personalized) and the servers were very competent! We only had one dish for 2 and it was very good, special mention for the lemon sauce (and always nice to see the chef in the dining room). Very cozy atmosphere with a little background music but which doesn't take over when we're talking. See you soon !

Great time. Everything was perfect. The cuisine is excellent, refined and the presentation on the plates is superb. We spoke for a few moments with the cook who is very friendly. Congratulations to the sommelier for his advice and his kindness. The manager is very pleasant. A little nod to the apprentice whose first day it was and who did well. We will come back with pleasure!

The place did not meet our expectations when we were there. The starter was ok but the main dish, lamb and potatoes was cold, overcooked meat and potatoes which seemed to be from lunch time (very dry). However the wine selection was great and the service was nice. Would recommend the owner of the place to make sure to have enough staff at work. I see you already got a similar feedback three weeks ago.

What a discovery! An excellent overall experience. The evening was a great success. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. The sommelier offered us very interesting wines that went perfectly with the food. The food was excellent. It was a new discovery for us and we will come again. Preferably, 6/5 stars

L’endroit est très cosy, l’ambiance est sympa dès qu’on pousse là porte. L’accueil est très agréable et la sommelière douée et sympa. Il n’y a pas grand choix mais assez pour les différents goûts de chacun. Chaque assiette est bien dressée , donne envie et c’est bien servi. Il y a de la recherche dans les plats , les associations de goûts, la déco, l’originalité des ingrédients . Mon seul point négatif est le prix… un peu élevé comparé à ce que l’on peut trouver aux alentours … À faire !
