Chez Ly, Paris 13th Arrondissement | The main dishes were amazing, but the dim sum was even more convincing. Last week, I tried several main dishes at Chez Ly and I'm still full of praise for them. Later, I chatted with friends, and they told me that the restaurant's reputation extends far beyond its main dishes—the Cantonese dim sum, such as shrimp dumplings and siu mai, are all handmade by the owner, one by one. Intrigued, my spouse and I went back to Chez Ly today specifically to try the dim sum. We ordered chicken siu mai, steamed shrimp rice rolls, steamed spare ribs with black bean sauce, Guangzhou-style shrimp dumplings, crab roe steamed siu mai, a plate of stir-fried beef noodles, and a pot of chrysanthemum tea. The taste was so authentic, it felt like being in an old Guangzhou restaurant, a delightful surprise. Finally, we had fried glutinous rice balls for dessert, perfectly concluding the meal. After eating the whole set, I couldn't help but give it a thumbs up. Next time, I definitely want to bring my family to share this experience.

Lovely place, so many options on the menu. The fried noodles Singaporean style is very delicious, a bit spicy and very well seasoned. Roasted duck is very soft, juicy and a bit sweet but overall taste is so good. Staffs are very nice and polite. The owner’s welcoming.

Excellent Peking duck, everyone loved it, I was a little less convinced by the noodles but the rest was excellent.

We have a ritual: every July 26th, we come to celebrate my son's birthday with Peking duck. We tried many restaurants before finding Chez Ly Village Tao-Tao. And we remain loyal because of the quality of the food!

Always perfect. A very old Parisian restaurant. A well-run restaurant with excellent Asian cuisine. It was a pleasure to see them open again after months of closure following a fire.

Absolutely nothing justifies the exorbitant prices. €40 for one starter and one main course with noodles. It's the same as other, much cheaper restaurants. The service was quick and courteous.
