The venue was very nice, with the major advantage of being a reasonable size, so you're close to the artists. As for the concert itself that night, Charlie Winston was absolutely fantastic! But the experience was somewhat spoiled by a group of "idiots" who seemed to be there more for the bar than for the music! They were shouting and laughing, with absolutely no respect for the artists on stage. The rest of the audience had to protest for a good part of the evening, trying to get them to stop, but to no avail. What a terrible image for Charlie Winston and his musicians! It would have been preferable if security had intervened...

A wonderful discovery this weekend! It's a human-sized performance venue that can accommodate around 1200 people (seated and standing). The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Accessibility for people with disabilities is excellent. You can get refreshments at the small bar, which offers drinks and snacks at affordable prices. The restrooms are clean. There's a free 300-space parking lot right next to the venue. In short, it was perfect.

I was very lucky to attend Charlie Winston's show on Saturday, March 29th. He's an incredibly generous artist. This was my second time at La Cigalière, but under completely different circumstances, as my first visit was just after the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, I found the staff and the measures in place to be excellent. This time, of course, the conditions were completely different. I appreciate the free parking available right next to the venue, even if, frankly, people don't make much of an effort to park properly. Security is very basic, consisting of little more than a quick look in bags. The venue itself is really nice, with a bar area at the entrance and the option of going upstairs to the bleachers or entering from the pit. We chose the bleachers. The sound was good, the venue well-proportioned, really very good. But the major drawback of this place is the constant noise from the crowd in the pit! The bar was open and there was a lot of alcohol! So we couldn't hear the artist when he spoke or sang softly. Unbelievable! Luckily, Charlie Winston was cranking up the volume, otherwise it would have been really unpleasant. A total lack of respect for the artist, who nevertheless seemed amused by comparing the audience to cicadas. A real shame, but hats off to the artist!
