A wonderful discovery! The manager and the entire team are exceptionally welcoming, approachable, and always pleasant. You immediately feel at ease. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, which is evident in every bite. The value for money is excellent, with generous and flavorful cuisine. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Verneuil-sur-Avre or the surrounding area. We'll definitely be back!

Passing through, we stopped for lunch on a Monday. A very good restaurant from start to finish, with reasonable prices. The dish of the day was guinea fowl leg with homemade fries. Very good. I also enjoyed the IPA on tap. The restaurant was full, which says it all. 👍

The best place in Verneuil-sur-Avre! The food is top-notch, as are the cocktails. It's also an excellent spot for wine lovers, with very reasonable prices. The service is always impeccable thanks to an attentive, friendly, and helpful team. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!

18/08/2026: Wow, what a wonderful lunch we had in early August 2026 at this restaurant that had been recommended to us! Excellent Italian-inspired cuisine, presented with care. Located a little at the end of the Quai Valin, we might not have stopped at this restaurant if it hadn't been recommended to us, because, as Sarah told us, there are plenty of options in La Rochelle. We would have truly missed out, and we will definitely return at the first opportunity. Surely one of the best restaurants in town. Just a small note: don't take the table on the terrace that's straddling a metal plate on the sidewalk; your plate will definitely jiggle every time a waiter passes by. A minor detail that didn't spoil our enjoyment!

Bar La Fille De Trompette

07/06/2026: Much better than the bar next door, which refused us entry to our holy adventure (a pub crawl) that started at 10 a.m., we were served very quickly. I thank the staff at this bar and I recommend it.
02/06/2026: The new team is fantastic! I highly recommend them.
