O Val Do Tamega sur Acheres

Amazing quality food with fair prices

I stopped by this Portuguese restaurant last night. A pleasant surprise. The young waiter was incredibly kind and helpful. The meal was delicious. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a Portuguese experience.

O Val Do Tamega is an excellent Portuguese restaurant, the best I've tried in France so far. It was my grandparents' favorite restaurant, and we used to gather there for family meals a few times a year. I've been eating there occasionally for almost 20 years, and I've never been disappointed. It must be about a year since I last went back, and I'm really looking forward to it (so much so that I'm leaving a review after I've had the chance)! As for the food, their "bitoque" (a type of Portuguese stew) is my favorite of all restaurants (even in Portugal). Their "moelas" (a type of Portuguese stew) and "prego no prato" (a type of Portuguese stew) are also delicious, and their "doce de bolachas" (a type of Portuguese stew) for dessert is good (although a bit small).

A good little popular restaurant, authentic traditional family cooking. A good and hearty worker's lunch: the octopus was divine!

Great restaurant, excellent traditional Portuguese cuisine

For me, honestly, in this area, for eating in a beautiful setting at a reasonable price, I think it's unbeatable; I highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions generous. Everything was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. Special mention also goes to the staff: friendly, attentive, and caring throughout the meal. The service was efficient yet warm, making the experience even more enjoyable. A place where you can eat very well in a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!
