O'Bistronome sur Conflans-Sainte-Honorine

An excellent evening enjoying original, delicious, and beautifully presented dishes in a refined, modern setting. The service was impeccable. We will return and highly recommend it.

We made a reservation a week in advance, only to discover we were in the "front door" category. Charming. When I pointed this out, the waitress casually explained that "some customers are well seated and others aren't." I had no idea seating was based on some kind of caste system. It's always enlightening. She went on talking, "It's not our fault, this, that, and so on." Perhaps a little training in customer service—or a position with no customer contact—would be a wise investment.

I had dinner there for my birthday, everything was truly excellent, we didn't leave a crumb from the appetizer to the dessert, lovely decor and a warm atmosphere with a beautiful view of the garden from the veranda, impeccable service, it was worth the price, I highly recommend it!

The food was excellent! And the service was pleasant. The only downside: the manager was unpleasant, with no smile whatsoever, whether taking our order or processing our payment.

A small dinner with friends, and we weren't disappointed. The beginning was a little slow, but it was very good after that. We're still waiting for our sparkling wine, though, even though it was included in the bill… otherwise, the food was excellent. Two points: for the ceviche, the beetroot isn't necessary, and it's served on the side! Also, the beetroot is far too vinegary, to the point of overpowering the beetroot flavor. Second point: the meat was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. For dessert, regarding the vacherin, as a big fan of meringue, the tuile was too thin. It's a minor detail. The food was excellent, and the portions were just right!

Beautifully presented dishes, excellent food, everything is perfect, even the price is reasonable, except for the fact that you have to eat too quickly, a maximum of 2 hours, not a minute more.

The food was refined and delicious, and the service was pleasant. We were seated on the veranda, facing the illuminated garden. It was very beautiful.

I had dinner at O’Bistronome in Conflans, and from a culinary perspective, the experience was very compelling. The cuisine is interesting, well-structured, and possesses a distinct identity. There's a clear Japanese influence, with a great deal of finesse and depth in the flavors: lemongrass, coriander, fresh herbs, dishes often crafted around perfectly balanced broths, and exquisitely delicate ravioli. The plates are expertly presented and balanced, and you can sense the meticulous work behind each dish. Everything was delicious, cohesive, and enjoyable from beginning to end. However, the service left me wanting more, which is a shame considering the quality of the food. There were far too many different people involved throughout the meal, disrupting the flow and the continuity of service. At times, it felt like no one had a real overview of the meal, what had been served before, or what was coming next. There's a real lack of cohesion between the dining room and the kitchen, a lack of customer service that would better showcase the dishes, explain them, guide the diners, and create a connection between the plates and those enjoying them. The welcome remains polite and courteous, but overall, it lacks precision and accuracy compared to what's coming out of the kitchen. This is all the more frustrating because the quality of the food clearly deserves better. From a professional perspective, I sincerely believe this restaurant has the potential to easily earn a Bib Gourmand, and even aspire to something more in the future. The culinary talent is undeniable. Ultimately, only a few things are missing, but these details, especially in the dining room, make all the difference between a very good restaurant and a truly memorable one.
