O'Bistronome sur Conflans-Sainte-Honorine

The food was refined and delicious, and the service was pleasant. We were seated on the veranda, facing the illuminated garden. It was very beautiful.

I had dinner at O’Bistronome in Conflans, and from a culinary perspective, the experience was very compelling. The cuisine is interesting, well-structured, and possesses a distinct identity. There's a clear Japanese influence, with a great deal of finesse and depth in the flavors: lemongrass, coriander, fresh herbs, dishes often crafted around perfectly balanced broths, and exquisitely delicate ravioli. The plates are expertly presented and balanced, and you can sense the meticulous work behind each dish. Everything was delicious, cohesive, and enjoyable from beginning to end. However, the service left me wanting more, which is a shame considering the quality of the food. There were far too many different people involved throughout the meal, disrupting the flow and the continuity of service. At times, it felt like no one had a real overview of the meal, what had been served before, or what was coming next. There's a real lack of cohesion between the dining room and the kitchen, a lack of customer service that would better showcase the dishes, explain them, guide the diners, and create a connection between the plates and those enjoying them. The welcome remains polite and courteous, but overall, it lacks precision and accuracy compared to what's coming out of the kitchen. This is all the more frustrating because the quality of the food clearly deserves better. From a professional perspective, I sincerely believe this restaurant has the potential to easily earn a Bib Gourmand, and even aspire to something more in the future. The culinary talent is undeniable. Ultimately, only a few things are missing, but these details, especially in the dining room, make all the difference between a very good restaurant and a truly memorable one.

It's fine dining. But you have to pay €50 for lunch or dinner. For two people, that's €100 for just lunch or dinner. And that's far too expensive for what's on the plate.

A friend who lives in Conflans introduced me to this little gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. We were seated in front of the veranda, facing the perfectly manicured and incredibly peaceful garden. The meal was truly excellent; the dishes were flavorful, and the amuse-bouche was incredible! The service was efficient and discreet. The prices were slightly high because we ordered the extras from the set menu, but we have no regrets—the prices are justified. We had a wonderful time, and I will definitely return!

Takeout order for my husband's birthday. It was perfect, as usual. From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was delicious and beautifully presented, and the takeout system is excellent. It allows you to have a gourmet dinner at home when there's no childcare available ;) A big thank you to the team.

A small restaurant serving excellent dishes made with quality ingredients. The dining room is much larger than it appears from the outside, but the tables are still a bit too close together for my liking; you feel like you're eating with people from other tables even when you're seated at a table for two. The view of the small garden is really lovely. You forget you're in the middle of the city for the duration of your meal. The service is quite fast, and the servers are generally pleasant. The prices aren't excessive. A good restaurant if you're on a budget and appreciate quality food.

The food is fresh and of high quality. However, a major drawback is the starters, which are exclusively fish and shellfish-based. For those with allergies or pregnant women who can no longer tolerate these foods, you won't get a starter because the restaurant is unable to offer an alternative… which is a real shame for them and for us (frustrating). Then the waiter says he'll get back to you with a solution and sends another one to take your order without informing you of the solution. I had to assume there wasn't one and not order a starter. And I'm a bit old-fashioned, but eating such delicious desserts with a spoon… well, not so much, but unfortunately, this is becoming increasingly common.
