Oncle Scott's Honfleur sur Honfleur

A fairly good experience. The reviews greatly amplified the restaurant's kitchen issues. The service was friendly and efficient. The cooking was generally done correctly. However, midway through service, the speed of service slowed considerably. We could see desserts melting on the counter, including ours.

Discovering this unusual spot in Honfleur It's a heatwave and the restaurant isn't air-conditioned, so the heat quickly becomes stifling. Because of the heat, there's no draft beer, and the bottled beers are, how shall I say, very limited in both quality and quantity, as the stock was practically nonexistent. The food is good, but nothing exceptional for the price. The service was excellent at first, but with the crowds and the heat, it couldn't keep up. Perhaps there simply weren't enough staff during the rush, resulting in a long wait between the main course and dessert. And I understand that with the ambient heat in the restaurant, smiles disappear. The desserts were excellent. Ultimately, it's expensive for what it was. I was expecting an American atmosphere. Nothing of the sort. Kudos to the staff for working in these conditions.

The Cellar and the Pepper Mill were dirty and greasy. Furthermore, I had asked for a non-alcoholic drink, but I was served one with alcohol. An unacceptable mistake. I hope these points will be taken into account to improve the customer experience. Apart from that, the food was very good; it was excellent.

A bit hot, it was a heatwave. Everything was perfect, the owner greeted us in a tutu, it threw me off a bit 😀 We come once a year. Nice time, I recommend it, good food for 4

Upon arrival, the waitress lowered her eyes without saying hello. Then the young man placed our order, which was rushed. The waitress set down the plates without a smile or a word. I asked for bread, and the waitress didn't react at all. Luckily, we also asked for water, otherwise we would have been eating dry! No one came to check if we had bread. We waited for our desserts, but unfortunately, this is a place I wouldn't recommend. The music was far from the style of atmosphere they were going for and a bit too loud. No big deal, I was just passing through, but I won't be back.

I haven't been here since April 2022, and it's still just as delicious 😋 I'm here for a good week. They're going to have to put up with me every day 😅 The meat is still amazing, and the portions are still so generous. Thank you

Our visit was somewhat disappointing. The staff is very friendly, there's plenty of space, and ample parking. One of our orders was initially ordered incorrectly, but the staff apologized politely, and the replacement arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the meat was completely dry, there was very little of it, and the lamb chop had only one bite of meat on the bone; the rest was just fat. The ribs were tasty, but the portion was far too small.

We had a wonderful meal! The quality and homemade touch are evident! The price is very reasonable for a restaurant in Honfleur. 👌 The chocolate mousse was a delight, and the desserts were excellent. ++++++

We really enjoyed it, the staff speaks English. Great satisfaction.
