Otto sur Biscarrosse

The Japanese-inspired tapas are really good and mostly original. I'm not a big fan of the sharing platters, considering the quantity/price ratio... On the other hand, the music was too loud and it was a bit too hot in the restaurant (especially in the restrooms), but oh well, that's to be expected this time of year!

Delicious food and a great location. Carefully selected wines, superb cocktails. Fantastic place! Go go go!

We had a fantastic time at Otto's restaurant. The dishes were very well prepared and quite generously portioned. Special mention goes to the crispy pork and the eggplant! The service was also excellent, with lovely waiters and cooks. We'll definitely be back!

Good cocktails, not too sweet. The service is very friendly. The food is truly excellent. I recommend this place. The dishes are inspired by various cuisines and very well executed. They are served as "sharing" plates. In reality, not all of them are shareable: the slice of roasted eggplant on a bed of hummus is a bit much; there isn't enough ceviche. Furthermore, the kitchen is located in the center of the restaurant, meaning you sit in a line, as the plates can't be placed in the middle if there are more than two of you. If you order a classic meal with a vegetable and a protein, they are served separately, in a random order, and sometimes with a long wait between courses. This is unpleasant, and it's the only negative point I found. The white chocolate rhubarb tart isn't really a tart; it's a white chocolate mousse with shortbread cookies stuck in it and a little rhubarb coulis. If you're expecting the tangy freshness of a rhubarb tart, you'll be disappointed, but the mousse is still very good in its own right.

Great restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. You can even enjoy a direct view of the kitchen! The prices are quite high, but the experience is definitely worth it!

There is English menu, and the service is nice. But im not really enjoying the food that much, probably it’s just personal preference. Ceviche tastes a but plain, I was actually expecting a stronger flavor of lemon. Fried cauliflower is very salty. Probably it was meant to be this salty but I really don’t like it. The dessert is super good and the portion is huge.

A restaurant with an incredible and delicious menu and dishes, service that caters well even to gluten-free diets, and delicious wines. What a pleasure!
