This restaurant is truly amazing! The welcome is warm and the food is just perfect! I can't wait to go back!

I went for dinner. I was greeted with a smile by the staff in this intimate and well-kept restaurant. The owner's son kindly explained their traditional dishes to me in both French and English, allowing me to appreciate their cuisine, where everything is made fresh and with the freshest ingredients (which is why some items may run out). What can I say about the food...delicious. A perfect mix of flavors that transport you to the other side of the world. The quality is definitely very high. The price is fair for what you get. I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

I will try to express my feelings as kindly as possible. Despite a warm welcome and a tasty dish, several things left me perplexed during my visit. First, I was surprised by the prices. I was expecting something more like a small neighborhood deli than dishes costing around €20. Upon arrival, the son presented all the dishes using a catalog (in which, incidentally, the prices were higher than those displayed on the wall board, which didn't exactly inspire confidence). I understand that this might be helpful for people discovering Vietnamese cuisine, but I personally found this approach a bit pushy. He particularly recommended one dish because it had been featured in the press. I understand the pride associated with this recognition, but I would have preferred to choose more freely. On several occasions, the owner came to the dining room to explain his pricing: ingredients imported from Asia, meat sourced from a local producer, artisanal preparation, and so on. I respect this approach and don't question the quality of the ingredients. However, I felt that these explanations were systematically used to justify the particularly high prices. After hearing this explanation repeatedly, I even began to think it served more to justify the prices than to showcase the work done in the kitchen. I'm not saying these arguments are wrong, but I would have preferred the food to speak for itself. In my opinion, it's perfectly possible to offer quality cuisine with less premium ingredients while remaining affordable. Finally, since the restaurant is very small, several members of the staff came to ask me the same questions within minutes of each other. Their intentions were certainly well-intentioned, but this reinforced my feeling of discomfort rather than conviviality. I want to clarify that the dish was good, and my opinion isn't about the taste. I simply left feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. It's primarily this discrepancy between the price, the portion sizes, and the overall experience that explains my disappointment. And before anyone asks why I didn't express this on the spot: when the manager takes the time to explain the reasons for his prices at length and with conviction, I understood his position perfectly. I didn't really see what further discussion would have accomplished. A Google review seems to me to be the appropriate place to honestly and respectfully share one's feelings afterward, whether positive or negative. Finally, I want to emphasize that this comment is intended to be constructive. In the current economic climate, where many customers are more careful with their spending, I fear that this pricing strategy may ultimately work against you. It's all the more disappointing because, in my opinion, the establishment has the potential to become a true neighborhood eatery that people would happily return to regularly. Today, I got the impression that the restaurant is trying to position itself in a premium niche, without the overall experience, the portion sizes, or the perceived value fully justifying the price difference. It's regrettable because the quality is there, but it's not enough on its own to make such prices acceptable.

My fiancé and I love meeting there for lunch. The owners are lovely, their freshly prepared dishes are excellent (quantity, taste, and presentation), and they know how to advise and introduce you to their cuisine—it's fascinating! I'm giving it 5 stars because they've distinguished themselves from other Vietnamese restaurants by offering exclusive products that you won't find anywhere else in the region! If you want to surprise your taste buds, this is the place to go.

It's perfect, I've been there several times and each time I feel like I'm rediscovering the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, you feel right at home, the people are very pleasant and respectful, and the food is simply delicious. I recommend everyone go!

A wonderful discovery of home-style cooking that was so different from our usual fare. We felt like we were transported to Vietnam last night. We'll definitely be back to try the pho on a Wednesday.

Absolutely excellent, both the appetizer and the main course. Special mention for the five-spice beef, which was exceptional. The service was impeccable, and the quality of the ingredients was equally impressive. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back :)

A life-changing restaurant! Absolutely delicious! An authentic taste I haven't even experienced in Vietnam! They only serve pho on Wednesdays, so reservations or arriving early are a must! Perfect down to the detail of importing the beer directly from Vietnam! You absolutely must come here if you visit Angers!!
