This must have been a really great restaurant once. Unfortunately, the garden in front of the restaurant is very run-down and dirty. I hesitated for a long time before actually going in. However, I was served very nicely and the food arrived quickly. The soup was still very good. But the main course tasted strongly of old oil and all the vegetables were pretty much dead – I didn't expect that from a Japanese-Vietnamese restaurant. The price-performance ratio is okay.
Stopped in because I’m staying at the HIE hotel across the street. It’s 730 on a Saturday night and the place is empty.
I figured why not so I order the Saigon menu. WOW! The food was amazing. I had Samosa for entree and lemongrass chicken for Plat. Delicious! Enough spice so I tasted it but not overpowering.
The young man who served me spoke very good English as well as French.
I hope that this little restaurant makes it.
