The food is excellent. We love going there; the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the theme is definitely there. The service is rather rushed; we would have liked to be able to take a little more time and enjoy the experience. Otherwise, a great place.

The decor is typically Asian, and ultimately, when you go to Palais de Jade, even though it's right in the heart of Biarritz, that's what you're looking for.
The food is very good value for money, and the staff is friendly.
I recommend it if you want a change from your usual restaurants and a nice time with friends.

Very noisy restaurant. Terrible service.
I had a reservation for 1 p.m. and was told, "Please come, the kitchen closes in 20 minutes."

The food was decent, BUT the portions were small, and the staff were incredibly robotic, rushing you out even though there were plenty of empty tables... profitability is clearly the priority... but it wasn't very pleasant for the customers. This point comes up regularly in reviews, but the turnover must be okay since nothing ever changes... what has saved this establishment for ages is its prime location and very affordable prices, compared to other restaurants in Biarritz... I would still advise them to listen to their customers, you never know!
