03/09/2026: Good atmosphere, professional service, and decent food.
But, but... PARIS IS AWFUL.
The value for money is questionable, especially considering the Parisians' inflated egos 😁.
Too much music for the ambiance, but good music nonetheless.
03/09/2026: We stayed near the Eiffel Tower and stopped by while passing through. We visited just before 10 PM on our way back from a Seine River cruise, and reservations were not required. A few more groups came in after we ordered, and we were told the kitchen would be closing soon. We sat in a corner of the outdoor seating area, away from the aisle, and ordered duck confit, onion soup, chicken legs with French fries, and two glasses of wine. The food tasted quite excellent. Since we were dressed like actresses in dresses for the cruise and went to a restaurant late at night, the waiter was actually quite flirting—not exactly flirting, but enough to make us all laugh. We were enjoying our meal when a small creature started moving on the floor. At first, I was so startled I screamed, but no one else seemed surprised except for my friend and me. Someone who seemed like a manager came over and asked, "Ratatouille?" We don't speak French, but having been to Disneyland the day before, we understood immediately (we hadn't seen the Ratatouille animation, so we didn't know it). So we said, "Yes, yes!" and they replied, "Come on~ This is Paris." "Ratatouille is everywhere." I'm not entirely sure, but that's exactly what they said with a smile. We all laughed, though it was a culture beyond imagination, haha. In Korea, that would have caused a huge uproar, but I guess that's just how it is in this city, so we just have to let it go. Also, they looked cuter than I expected. I finally realized why the Ratatouille animation was made! Parisians who cheerfully accept a really unpleasant situation, haha. It remains a very funny and amusing anecdote in my memory.
The food and service were excellent, so I gave them a small tip. It was the funniest part of this trip.
