Léana and Fabrice are welcoming, helpful, and kind. Sitting on the terrace on a sunny Saturday afternoon for a drink, the terrace's excellent location, sheltered from the wind and drafts of Kaysersberg's narrow streets, makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is bright and warm. As a result, we lingered over coffee and cake, then a second aperitif, and finally dinner! The pastries are homemade, which for me is a real plus because I'm tired of the usual ice cream or crème brûlée on restaurant menus; everything was truly delicious. And worth noting, the restrooms are clean!

We started with the cuisses de grenouilles, which were excellent. They were nicely fried, the accompanying salad was very fresh, and the sauce was rich and satisfying. For mains, we had the Roesti Burger, the Burger Montagnard, and a traditional Baeckeoffe. Everything was outstanding. The burgers stood out with thick, juicy patties that were perfectly seasoned, and the toppings on both were incredibly well-balanced and flavorful. The baeckeoffe was also a highlight, the meat was very tender, and the broth was rich and deeply flavorful. If it’s your first time trying this Alsatian specialty, this is definitely a great place to do it.

We had lunch there by pure chance and it was a lovely discovery! The service was pleasant and friendly, and the food was delicious! Special mention for the onion tart! Thank you!
