Pâtisserie Vilmain sur Kaysersberg

A wonderful family moment on Saturday evening! This is our second time eating at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very friendly, the terrace is lovely, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and always smiling 😀 The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. I highly, highly recommend it without hesitation! 🤩

We were very pleasantly surprised; we went there by chance and will definitely be back. The foie gras is truly excellent and alone justifies the trip and the reservation. The onion tart and the veal kidneys were also very good and very generous portions. The service was pleasant despite the large number of customers. The chef clearly loves to cook, and it shows in the food.

We chose to dine here while on a walking tour of Kaysersberg. Our table of four ordered the Cheeseburger, Black (chicken) Burger, Thai Burger, and a local called Baeckeoffe. A bowl of French fries served the table, and we all thought the food and wine choices were top notch! Wait staff were kind and attentive. Please consider should you visit this quaint, classic Alsatian town!

A nice place to enjoy something on the terrace. A fresh beer or a glass of wine. The waiter was very relaxed and attentive.

What can I say? "The owner," Marjorie, with her radiant, angelic smile, welcomes you with great pleasure and boundless enthusiasm. Moreover, her attention is evident throughout the entire meal. The dishes, lovingly prepared by her husband, the "boss," the chef, are excellent and, above all, generous, reflecting the spirit of traditional Alsatian cuisine. The vol-au-vents were as promised: marvelous. My guests were delighted, and my calf's head was absolutely divine. We all finished this magnificent meal with a small homemade vacherin glacé. White wine, beers, and Alsatian waters quenched our thirsts. The price of all this? Extremely reasonable. So, without hesitation, this restaurant is a benchmark and deserves to be known and recognized. Obviously, I'll be going back on my next trip to Alsace... and I sign, Serge HAESSLE... of my origins, born in Paris to Alsatian parents (Father and Mother)... coming from "the North"... Lol

Excellent restaurant. Great atmosphere.

We were comfortably seated on the terrace. Among the chef's suggestions was ham with melon; it was okay, but for €19.50, I expected more than just 3.5 small pieces of melon with a little bread – a baguette would have been preferable. The vol-au-vent was good, but it would have been even better with fries than with spaetzle. The burger was really good and therefore the best dish.

Best restaurant in Kaysersberg, deserves even more than 5/5, very warm welcome, great atmosphere. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful... A must-try if you're passing through Kaysersberg. Congratulations to David and Marjorie for all the work you do.
