We were absolutely charmed by the welcome: the owners are incredibly kind, the location is fantastic, and the atmosphere is truly warm. When we left, we were delighted and even thought we'd found our future 'headquarters' for pizza nights.
That's why our disappointment is so real and, above all, incomprehensible to us. By the time we'd made the short drive home (just a few minutes), the pizzas had cooled down slightly. We wanted to reheat them briefly in the microwave, as we usually do everywhere else without any problems. And then, total surprise: the crust had become incredibly hard, almost inedible.
It's an experience we'd never had before, and we still don't understand what could have happened. We're really torn because the personal touch was excellent, but this texture problem has dampened our enthusiasm for returning, which we sincerely regret.
