The food was very good and the bobun was excellent.

Hole in the wall but an absolute gem. No seating area though (take-away only). The staff is super nice and the vegan options are amazing. We had the bobun and the casserole (the only two mains) and the vegan dessert which was a tapioca coconut pudding— also delicious. So good, would definitely go again!

Found by chance, it was a wonderful surprise! Papaya salad and pork bo bun: it was sooooo good!!!! (And a generous portion, but I didn't leave a thing!) It's only available for takeout, which makes you want to sit down, but the service is super friendly and the botanical garden is right next door, perfect for enjoying your meal in peace and quiet. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the neighborhood 😊

Takeout only. The papaya and chicken salad was very good, but be sure to ask for it without cilantro if you don't like it (or if it tastes like dish soap, like me). If I had known it was there, I would have asked for it without, as it really ruins the flavor. I didn't see on the menu if this was indicated. The Thai chicken curry and the tapioca dessert were also very good. You get enough for two meals (at least that was the case for me) because the portions are so generous. A great find, I highly recommend it!

We ordered a chicken bo bun and a Thai chicken curry. The service was incredibly fast, and the waiter gave us great recommendations. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be back.

We had noticed this take away place for several years. It was always busy. Finally we made it a point to order a take-away for dinner this evening. Firstly, if you were to go to Google Maps, the website on this place is no longer accurate. We found out later when we went to make our order than the company who did the website for Pause Bobun no longer updates it since post-covid. The beef options for starters or main dish no longer exist. Beef is replaced with pork. I highly recommend the green papaya salad, the Vietnamese raviolis (they are authentic and delicious). The Porc Bobun was good. They also offer a vegan option for starters, main dish and dessert. I highly recommend the grilled chicken with five spices and I love the tapioca dessert (though a little less sugar, that’s my personal taste, would be even better). However, some may like this sweet. The portions are of a good size. For small eaters, you can even keep the leftovers for your next meal. Highly recommend especially if you are in the vicinity or through delivery service. We ordered directly, waited about 15 minutes on the spot for our food to be ready, packed with paper towels and recyclable cutleries which you could eat in the park (Jardin des Plantes) nearby. The person who took the order was really nice and pleasant. If I recall correctly, there were a table or two with several chairs on the pavement when the weather was warm enough in the previous years. Thank you for such a delicious dinner! We will certainly return!

I got a superb vegan bobun to go, bursting with flavor, along with a lotus and tapioca dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish; it's so nice to find a little gem near this train station that's constantly under construction. Plus, with spring arriving, you can eat on a bench in the flower park right next door. 🪷🌸💐

Excellent ravioli and bo bun to take away. Generous portions. Very friendly service with the cat and the decor. I recommend it if you're passing through Austerlitz station; it's right next door.
