The ice cream is just as good as anywhere else, and the prices are reasonable: 1 scoop €3, 2 scoops €5! The only downside is there's nowhere to sit and eat your ice cream with my 70-year-old uncle, which isn't ideal! There's always the option of going to the garden next door, but a small terrace would be much better, especially since there's space on the sidewalk! Chairs and tables must cost too much, and then there's the cost to the city council, darn it!

01/05/2026: Delicious homemade pizza. Tried the napolitaine (anchovy/olive), the capricieuse (ham/olive), and Caesar salad. Cute small local place. Owner doesn’t speak English but delivered perfectly on the food and cold beer.
30/04/2026: Absolutely adore this place. We happened across it by chance but came back to eat 3 times. The food is SO GOOD. Fresh, delicious, just on point homestyle cooking. Warm and filling without feeling heavy, and flavors were incredible. I think this is the peak of French cooking. Would really recommend the local dishes here. We tried multiple things over the three times we came, and everything we got was amazing. Also the owner is so kind and patient even with our lack of French. No other restaurant (including the fine dining) we tried here lived up to the standard set by D’Aqui d’Aia. We were joking that we were going to call the Michelin guide people. Truly this place is a gem. We will be coming back any time we are in Nice.
